How great it was to share my vacation...
LTA INAUGURAL TOUR

With each new friend and new "relation."
With Gina's planning and Kevin's coach,
Our tour was far above reproach.
What fun it was to notice when we
Turned other tourists green with envy!
Lighthouse, lake and river lock,
Custer, poet laureate, and Bill Hickock,
Badlands, Rushmore, Crazy Horse, more
Each day as great as the one before.
"Hunting" for buffalo was a special treat;
Some thought: better to see than to eat.
Chances for shopping along the way
And casinos. (Nonna Gina led me astray!)
We pleased our palates and our eyes
With waffles, s'mores, and Betty's pies;
The Keystone dinner a taste sensation
With outstanding presentation;
Mimosa breakfast, some special feasts,
Buffalo burgers, and other wild beasts.
Day after day we filled our plates
And ate our way across the states.
With these memories we'll rest and then
Make plans to travel with Gina again.
A Bit About Traveler Diane Murray
A lovely lady named Di
For lunch near Duluth chose Walleye.
It didn't take long
To know she chose wrong
So, instead, she enjoyed Betty's pie.
A Bit About Traveler Ray Murray
For Ray, the tour had added luster
When he learned much of General Custer;
Up hill, down dale, around each bend,
He followed the journey to its bitter end.
And just as it was when Custer was shot,
The trek was excruciatingly hot!
A Bit About Our Post-Tour Driver
Spencer, filled with much elation,
Likes to drive on his vacation.
Finding Mavericks on his way
Enjoying his busman's holiday.
